CRM is often bought as a wish: “if we had a system, we would follow up.” Systems do not follow up. People do, or automations that people designed.
You probably do not need a new CRM yet if
- One person still holds every relationship in their head, and volume is low.
- Nobody can describe what “qualified” means in a sentence.
- You already pay for a tool whose inbox tab is the only thing in use.
In that case the work is definition and habit. ACS can still help. That is advisory, not a software invoice.
You probably do need a CRM (or a lead system) if
- Leads arrive from ads, partners and walk-ins, and they go cold in different pockets.
- More than one person must see the same pipeline without a weekly argument.
- You need a rule for speed to first response, not a feeling.
Then the question is set up something standard versus build a small lead system. Most SMEs should try configure first. Custom work starts when the sales process is the product, or when the tools on the market fight the way you sell.
That decision sits on IT advisory and, when it is genuinely a build, custom software.
If you write to us, send how a lead arrives today and where it dies. That is the brief.
